Claremont Fastpitch is a non-profit organization, Tax ID: 20-3526833, playing under USA Softball rules and regulations.

Each playing season runs from September 1 through August 31 of the following year. Claremont Fastpitch has five divisions based on player age: 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u, and 14u. The player's age division is based off their age as of September 1 of the playing year.

Our Spring season registration opens in November and closes in early January, with assessments to be held the week after registration closes. If a player wants to be considered to play in a higher age division, they must assess for each age division and the board will make a decision based on whether there is availability in the higher division and based on the player's skill. 6u age divisions do not need to assess.

Team drafts are done the week following assessments and practices can start at the end of January. Opening day is generally the Saturday after President's Day and games start the following week. Most divisions have 2 practices per week. Most divisions have games every Saturday, with 1-3 weekday games per month in addition to the Saturday game. Last games of the season are typically the first weekend in May, with Allstars to follow.
